Helping Your Concrete Learner Navigate In An Abstract World

A message from Natick SEPAC-

Does your child do better with concrete tasks and activities, as opposed to those which are less expected or abstract? If your child is having a difficult time making friends or being successful academically, this workshop is for you.

Whether your child has a diagnosis or not, Lynn Crowley, Social Cognitive Specialist will share her observations and help parents take a new look at social skills, behavior and academic performance.  Lynn Crowley, M.Ed was trained at Mass General Hospital's Department of Psychiatry's Thinking Skills Inventory/Think Kids program.

Join us on Thursday, March 24th from  7-8:30 for networking and a 1 hr presentation with Lynn Crowely where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear real life situations, explanations and strategies - ranging from circle time to schedule changes in high school.  You'll leave with a new perspective and some potential new ideas to help your child be more successful in the classroom, on the playground and at home.
