On Saturday, February 11th, at 1:00pm, a caucus will be held for Natick residents who are registered Democrats. During the caucus, local delegates will be selected to attend the Democratic State Convention in Springfield this summer. The caucus will be at the Morse Institute Library at 14 East Central Street in Natick Center.
During the Natick caucus, which is hosted by the Natick Democratic Town Committee (NDTC), participants will elect 20 delegates to attend the Democratic State Convention – 10 female and 10 male. There are also four alternative positions available, along with openings for other categories - such as youth, minorities, and people with disabilities who were not elected as delegates or alternates. For more information, please see www.massdems.org.
The caucus at the library on February 11th is open to all Natick residents who are registered Democrats, and the NDTC members welcome participants. The NDTC meeting usually takes place on the last Wednesday of the month at the Natick Town Hall. For more information on either the local caucus or the NDTC, please visit www.NatickDems.org or call NTDC Chair Dylan Hayre at 508-687-2146.
