
Long before Alanis and Jewel, there was a breed of singer/songwriters whose earthly anthems of soul-searching, heartache and joy touched souls in a way few can muster today. When Karla’s self-titled first album was released in 1977, she was in her early 20s and already a veteran of the Southern California music scene.
