Fire Hits Natick Home Along Speen Street
The fire was reported around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

NATICK, MA — A two-alarm fire broke out Wednesday night at a home along Speen Street south of Route 135.
According to firefighters, the blaze started in the chimney of a home at 36 Speen St. and then extended through the structure. Firefighters quickly sounded a second alarm, drawing Framingham, Sherborn and Wayland firefighters to assist.
Two people were inside the home when the fire broke out, but both were able to escape without injury, according to Natick Chief Michael Lentini.

The fire was under control within an hour, but the last crews did not leave the scene until about 1 a.m., Lentini said.
