Great News for Dog community in Natick!

Last week the Dog Park at Middlesex Path was on the agenda for the Natick Board of Selectmen meeting. We had the pleasure of attending and watching the Board get up to speed because, with the exception of Mr. Jennett, they have all been elected since we were last in front of them in 2016. Town Counsel wrote a great synopsis of the journey and every Selectman who spoke voiced support for the project.

Also yesterday, the contractor agreed to extend the time to sign a contract with the town under state law to July 9.

We owe a big thank you to all of our supporters and donors. FIDO was able to confidently say that any difference between the grant from the Stanton Foundation and the contract would be funded.

Now the town is working out the logistics as they need to receive the funds from the Stanton Foundation and FIDO and to sign the construction contract.

Important dates are coming up and you won't want to miss them! The construction contract could be signed as early as the Board of Selectmen meeting on June 10.
