New Mascot Names Narrowed Down [POLL]

The Name Change Committee has narrowed submissions down to five options that could replace the current Red and Blue team name. 

Students and staff will have the opportunity to vote May 1 for their favorite of the following: Natick Knights, Natick Legacy, Natick Pride, Natick Red Hawks and Natick Tribe. Voting will take place during lunch at the school.

NHS that she would take suggestions for a new name in the light of the new high school building set to open in late June or early July. She was met with much opposition from some residents after announcing that she would not accept the name returning to the original Redmen name, which was eliminated in 2007.

After the votes are collected, Name Change Committee members will make the decision. The name will then be given to a graphic artist, who will design five logo options in three to four weeks. Students and staff will then get to make the final decision on the logo to accompany the new team name that will be used in when the new school opens its doors.
