Holliston Driver Hits House, Faces OUI Charge, In Natick

A man reportedly hit a house in Natick late Friday evening.

NATICK, MA—A man is facing OUI charges, among others, after police say he struck a house in Natick late Friday night.

James Christian Sardina, 26, Queens Terrace, Holliston, was charged with OUI (alcohol) malicious destruction of property, operating to endanger and marked lanes violation.

Units responded at 11:50 p.m. to a crash at 157 Hartford St., and found at the scene a 2010 Nissan on its roof next to the damaged home. Investigators found that Sardina had drifted over the center line into oncoming traffic, and overcorrected to get back into the westbound lane. His vehicle struck the granite curb and onto the lawn striking the house, said police.

The Nissan bounced off the residence and rolled onto its roof, setting off the airbags.

No one was injured and Sardina was arrested at the scene. During the booking, Sardina said he had a passenger but wouldn't reveal the identity.
