Homeless Woman Apprehended After Car Break Near Tracks in Natick

Last week, Natick officers responded to a call about a possible motor vehicle break-in in progress on Washington Street, north of the railroad tracks.

After initially eluding capture, the suspect was apprehended by a plainclothes detective who was monitoring the area.

She was identified as Rebeccah Roth (Homeless) and several items were recovered, said police.

Roth was charged with two counts of B&E motor vehicle with intent to commit a felony, larceny over $250, larceny under $250 and receiving stolen property over $250.

Some items were not identified by known victims and we are seeking anyone else who may have suffered a property loss recently, said police.
