Hotel, Senior Housing Proposed at Site of Former Sam's Club in Natick

A developer shared his ideas with the Natick Planning Board.

NATICK, MA—A local developer presented to the Natick Planning Board the idea of building senior housing and a hotel at the intersection of Route 9 and Speen Street, the spot of the former Sam's Club.

Jack O'Neil of National Development told the board his idea includes a senior living facility with 164 units and a hotel with 132 units, reports The Natick Tab.

O'Neil told the board that it would bring in tax revenue for the town in a space that has sat dormant. The board responded positively to the idea, but commented about concerns about zoning and bylaws.
