International Womens Day

On #InternationalWomensDay, I pledge to continue to be a leader on women's rights and equality.

On #InternationalWomensDay, I pledge to continue to be a leader on women’s rights and equality. I have always been a proud advocate on issues of gender equality, but there is more work to be done. Women receive lower wages, experience greater inequalities, and are more vulnerable to discrimination, sexual harassment, and job insecurity. We must continue to defend a women’s right to make decisions about her body and her health. We must continue to fight for Paid Family and Medical Leave, so that a woman never has to decide between paying her bills and caring for her family in a time of crisis. We must continue to advocate for fairness and equality in the workplace, so that women receive equal pay for equal work. I will continue my commitment to these issues and to fighting for a time when we no longer need a day reminding us of the injustices towards a gender.

Sincerely,

Representative David P. Linsky
