Josh and the Jamtones

Saturday 10/17 11am $10 adult / $8 child TCAN (The Center for Arts in Natick) 14 Summer Street, Natick MA 01760 natickarts.org/buy-tickets

Josh and the Jamtones are not pushing an agenda of indoor voices, brushing your teeth or getting to bed on time. The Boston-based outfit is an interactive/untra-powered live band musical explosion. Josh --backed by drummer/producer Pat Hanlin, their home-grown record label Jamhouse Recs and parent company Jammin’ with You!-- manages to seamlessly blend roots/regae/ska stylings, feel-good pop, folk punk, country ballads, New Orleans-style street music & kid-friendly improv comedy all into a frenetic ball of kids music awesomeness, culminating in two-critically-acclaimed family records: “Jump Up,” and the recently released “Bear Hunt!” album. The Jamtones have played over 200 shows and released three full-length records all in just the past two years.
