NATICK, MA — After a month on display, the LOVE 01760 art installation in downtown Natick will close down on Thursday, although some art will be archived for future viewing.

LOVE 01760 was a community-wide project where residents submitted heart halves, which were then paired and strung up across the pedestrian bridge over the MBTA tracks downtown. A portion of the hearts were set aside to honor the Natick High School class of 2020.

The installation opened to the public on July 16.

The organizers — including the Natick Center Cultural District (NCCD), SPARK Kindness, and local artists and businesses — were prepared for few hundreds submissions. But over 1,00 hearts were submitted, according to NCCD community outreach coordinator Archana Menon.

Some heart halves will be saved as part of the "Natick Shares: A COVID-19 Community Archive Project." Images of the artwork are also available on the LOVE 01760 Facebook page.
