'Lock Your Cars At Night': Natick PD Warns

Video of a car break-in prompted Natick police to remind residents to lock their cars at night.

NATICK, MA — Natick police need help identifying a man they believe has been breaking into unlocked cars in town. While the department asked for help, it reminded residents to keep their cars locked at night.

Video released by the department on its Facebook page showed a man lurking near a car on Speen Street, opening the driver's side door and rifling through the car. Before the video finishes, the man can be seen approaching a second car in the same driveway and trying to open the passenger-side door but walking away when he realizes it's locked.

Police said the man had been, "prowling around in the neighborhoods along Speen St, North of Rt. 135."
