Man In Black Van Allegedly Walks In Yard With Hatchet, Goes Through Mail, At Natick Home
Police responded to reports of a rather suspicious acting person in a black van on Thursday morning.

NATICK, MA—Police are looking for a man who allegedly stopped at a person's house, walked through the yard with a hatchet, and looked through the trash and the mailbox at a home in Natick.
Around 11:05 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, Natick police received a complaint of a suspicious person in the yard in the Wethersfield section of town. About an hour after the incident, a young witness called police to describe the suspicious person as a white male dressed in black, wearing a hat. He was possibly in his 20s. The witness also said the person was carrying an object they described as a hatchet, and drove an all black work van with no front license plate and a ladder on top.
According to the witness the man got out of the van, sat near the steps of the home for a while before going through the trash and mailbox. It is not believed that any items were removed, said police. The man then got in the van and drove away, and the witness thinks he drove back by the house about 20 minutes later.
