Man Offers Ride To Natick Elementary Student: Police

Breaking: Natick police are looking for a man who allegedly asked where a child lived, and offered the child a ride.

NATICK, MA — Natick police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly pulled up next to an elementary school student, who was walking, and asked where the child lived and offered a ride.

Shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, in the area of Pine and Liberty streets, an elementary school student noticed a vehicle come up from behind, getting close to the student and eventually stopping.

The student told police that the man who stopped appeared to be 55 to 65 years old, had whitish hair, a whitish goatee and a slim build. This man allegedly asked where the child lived and offered a ride home. The student didn't answer him, and quickly darted away. The child identified the vehicle as a tan or brown Subaru Forrester with an unknown, but possible Massachusetts, license plate.
