Man Pulled 17 Car Door Handles on Secluded Street: Arrested With Pocket of Change
Natick police are sharing this arrest as a reminder to lock your cars, and bring your valuables inside.

NATICK, MA—It's a common crime spotted in town and city police logs everywhere. Natick police are reminding residents and visitors that it happens here, too. Break-ins to unlocked cars is becoming more common.
Late Wednesday night, an observant resident reported a suspicious man walking down a secluded street. The man was pulling on car door handles in driveways and he zig-zagged from one side of the street to the other, said police.
The seventeenth door handle worked and he opened the door to that car, and police were able to locate the man and found a pocket full of loose change. He was arrested and charged with a variety of charges resulting from the attempted entries and witnessed vehicle break.

"The incident serves as another reminder to lock your doors," said Natick police on their Facebook page. "It is encouraging that sixteen residents locked their cars, but an opportunist needs only find the one that didn't."
