Maria Clover, Lifelong Natick Resident, Dies at 89

Clover's services are this week.

Maria G. (Corbosiero) Clover, 89, of Natick died Sunday, March 22, surrounded by loving family at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late James A. Clover (Sgt. Natick Police) who died in 2010.

Born in Natick and a lifelong resident she was the daughter of the late Donato and Michaelina (Ippolito) Corbosiero.

Mrs. Clover was employed by the State of Massachusetts Courts in the Probation Department at Natick District Court. She previously worked for Loehmann’s Department Stores, Harwood Baseball Factory, and Winchell Shoe Factory.

She was a talented seamstress and wonderful cook, enjoyed all sports especially the Boston Red Sox.

Mrs. Clover was devoted to her family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children Janice C. Burke and her husband Peter of Natick, James A. Clover, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Natick, five grandchildren Daniel P. Burke of NYC, Kaitlyn C. Burke of Nantucket, Michael J. Burke of Brighton, James A. Clover, III, Andrew L. Clover both of Natick, two brothers Paul Corbosiero of Natick Daniel Corbosiero of Ocala, FL, one sister Sandra Miccile of Natick, two sisters in law Louise Corbosiero of Natick, Margaret Corbosiero of Wells, Maine and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Louis Corbosiero and Jerry Corbosiero.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, March 25th at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick’s Church at 10:00 A.M.

Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
