MBTA Suspending Commuter Rail Service Monday Evening, Tuesday
There will be no Commuter Rail, subway, or trolley service after 7 p.m. There will also be no service on Tuesday.

Those planning on using the Commuter Rail to get home will have until 7 p.m. to catch a train outbound from Boston.
The MBTA announced that they will suspend all subway, trolley, and Commuter Rail services effective at 7 p.m. tonight. Limited bus service will remain.

The Boston Herald reported that there will be no services on Tuesday, as well.
The announcement comes on the heels of an earlier decision to suspend all Commuter Rail service inbound to Boston.

All day, the Commuter Rail and subway have been plagued with delays and cancellation. The most notable incident came in Quincy where nearly 50 people were stuck in a Red Line train between Quincy Center and Quincy Adams for two hours after snow caused the third rail to lose power.
