Photo credit: Animal Rescue League of Boston A Natick family recently was set to skim out the leaves and muck from the pool to ready it for summer, and realized the collection of things in the pool included a mom duck and her ducklings. The Animal Rescue League of Boston responded on June 9 to a Natick home after receiving a call about the mom and her ducklings in a backyard pool. As the rescue team worked on moving the ducklings out of the pool, the mom flew to a nearby pond. The pond was only a few minutes away, so the rescue team was able to locate her and reunite her with her babies in the pond.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston responded on June 9 to a Natick home after receiving a call about the mom and her ducklings in a backyard pool.

As the rescue team worked on moving the ducklings out of the pool, the mom flew to a nearby pond. The pond was only a few minutes away, so the rescue team was able to locate her and reunite her with her babies in the pond.

The apparently-impatient mom took off to a nearby pond, but rescue crews from the Animal Rescue League of Boston reunited them.
