Motorcycle Run to Benefit MetroWest Area Veterans
Fundraiser to support support recreational activities for all Veterans, with a special focus on offering adaptive physical training programs

Camp Arrowhead, Amputee Veterans Recreation Area and the Natick AMVETS Post 79 is proud to announce the second annual Amputee Veterans Motorcycle Ride. The event is being held on Saturday August 26 and includes a 30 mile ride from the Natick AMVETS to Hudson AMVETS and returning for a ride celebration in Natick.
The Amputee Veterans Recreation Area at Camp Arrowhead is a non- profit organization dedicated to the improved physical and mental health of all Veterans through recreational programs and counseling.
The executive board that oversees this organization are all volunteers from Natick AMVETS Post 79.

Strategic goals for the future include:
- Facility improvements and property enhancements
- Offering adaptive physical training programs and health & wellness counseling for veterans who may suffer from limb-loss, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other critical issues and unique challenges
- Reaching out to and serving veterans of more recent conflicts such as Somalia Conflict, Persian Gulf War, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Afghanistan
- Growing awareness of organization and our mission through media and public relations
- Increasing volunteerism and donations

2nd Annual Amputee Veterans Ride & Benefit Party
Date: Saturday August 26, 2017, rain or shine
Time: Registration begins at 8:00am. Kickstands up at 9:50am, Benefit Party begins at 12pm
Location: AMVETS Post 79, 1 Superior Drive, Natick, MA 01760
Admission: $20 per motorcycle includes passenger. Non-riders welcome to attend Benefit Party, $20 per person. Non riders are welcome to purchase T-Shirts separately
Details: 30 mile ride from Natick AMVETS to Hudson AMVETS. 45 minute stop at Hudson AMVETS to stretch your legs, grab a drink and a snack and return to Natick for an outdoor Ride Party on the shoreline of Lake Cochituate, including food, music, raffle and free shirt for Riders.
