MutualOne Charitable Foundation Awards $5,000 to MetroWest ESL Fund
The donation supports the Natick-based organization, which runs a free Framingham Adult English as a Second Language PLUs program.

Robert P. Lamprey, chairman of the MutualOne Charitable Foundation, announced on Wednesday that the Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to the MetroWest ESL Fund, based in Natick.
The Foundation’s donation supports the free Framingham Adult English as a Second Language PLUS program, which helps adults attain fluency in English and also provides GED and citizenship classes. The program has grown from 30 students to more than 700 students each semester since its founding in 1984, said the announcement.
“There is no question that this program is of great value to those in our community who want to strengthen their chances for a brighter future,” said Lamprey in a statement. “We are pleased to help MetroWest ESL provide rewarding outcomes for today’s students and to support its efforts to expand in order to accommodate the hundreds of people on its waiting list each semester.”
