Natick 2020 Election: Nominations Due By Mid-January

Eleven town offices are up for election in 2020, plus dozens of Town Meeting member seats.

NATICK, MA — Natick will have two important elections in 2020. Of course there's the presidential election in November, but perhaps more consequential is the town election set for March 31.

There are 11 town positions up for election in 2020, and there will also be 67 Town Meeting member seats on the ballot. If you want to run for town office, you need to collect signatures from 25 registered voters and deliver them to the clerk's office by 5 p.m. on Jan. 14.

  • Two 3-year terms on the Board of Selectmen
  • One 3-year term on the School Committee
  • One 1-year term on the School Committee
  • One 5-year term on the Planning Board
  • One 3-year term on the Board of Assessors
  • One 3-year term on the Board of Health
  • Two 3-year terms on the Recreation and Parks Commission
  • One 5-year term on the Natick Housing Authority board

Nominations for new (not returning) Town Meeting members are not due until Feb. 11. Here are the seats open in 2020:

  • Precinct 1 — 10 members
  • Precinct 2 — 7 members
  • Precinct 3 — 6 members
  • Precinct 4 — 6 members
  • Precinct 5 — 7 members
  • Precinct 6 — 6 members
  • Precinct 7 — 6 members
  • Precinct 8 — 7 members
  • Precinct 9 — 6 members
  • Precinct 10 — 6 members
