Natick To Add Fluoride Back To Drinking Water System

This will be the first time fluoride is added back to drinking water after a January 2022 pause due to supply chain issues.

NATICK, MA — Natick's Water and Sewer Division is scheduled to add fluoride back into the drinking water system on March 1, town officials announced.

This will be the first time fluoride is in the water system since January 2022, when supply chain issues forced the town to suspend the addition of it.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Massachusetts Department of Public Health recommend a target fluoride level of 0.7 parts per million, and Natick maintains that level, officials said.
