Natick Backs Linsky In 5th Middlesex Democratic Primary

NATICK, MA — Incumbent state Rep. David Linsky cruised to victory in the Sept. 1 primary in Natick, taking nearly 80 percent of the vote in a two-way primary.

Natick businessman Jaymin Patel ran against Linsky in the 2020 primary — the first primary challenge for Linsky since he first won the 5th Middlesex state House seat in 1999.

Linsky had also defeated Patel by about 800 votes in Sherborn, which is also part of the 5th Middlesex. Millis had not reported results as of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
