Natick The Base For Launch Of MAPLE Learning Collaboration

NATICK, MA — The Massachusetts Personalized Learning Edtech Consortium, aka MAPLE, launched last week, a partnership between LearnLaunch Institute and the state's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Its purpose? To "accelerate the adoption of personalized learning."

Huffington Post featured the launch, which was held at Natick High School, and called the schol a "model of innovation and reinvention).

"MAPLE is an effort to get past inherent friction, and help Massachusetts school districts learn from one another - with the ultimate goal of personalizing the learning for students across the Commonwealth," writes author Josef Blumenfeld in the Huffington Post.

Supported by The Barr Foundation and Nellie Mae Education Foundation, MAPLE will leverage the work being done by the Commonwealth’s most innovative schools to enable all districts to incorporate personalized learning approaches and cutting-edge pedagogies, ensuring all students are prepared to be productive and successful citizens in the 21st Century, said a press release on the launch of the collaboration.
