Natick By the Numbers: Tobin School Volunteer Fair
Volunteers showed up to benefit charities like Operation Smile, Buddy Dog Animal Humane Society, Alex's Lemonade Stand for cancer research and many others.

On Nov. 5, volunteers from all over attended the sixth annual Family Volunteer Fair to benefit a wide range of charities. Head of School Lori Davis supplied the following numbers, indicating the fair's success:
- 200 people participated in the volunteer fair, benefiting multiple charities
- 154 bracelets were made for Handmade for Hospitals
- Volunteers rolled and baked several hundred dog biscuits for Buddy Dog Humane Society
- 51 cat toys and have a $45.00 donation to go to the Buddy Dog Humane Society Shelter
- Created 70 silly, joke-filled cards for Make a Child Smile
- Decorated and filled 315 ‘snack bags’ (paper bags with a drink, a snack, and a donated toy) for here in Natick
- Tied up 4 no-sew fleece blanket for The Binky Patrol
- Made 96 ‘sugar cone cornucupias’ for the ’s upcoming Fall event
- Sold a ton of books to allow us to give a donation of $257.00 to Reach Out and Read
- Held our funny photo booth which allowed us to collect $144.00 for Operation Smile
- Volunteers had fun building at the Construction Zones which brought us a donation of $164.00 for Habitat for Humanity
- Donated 10 boxes of leftover books to the Friends of the for their book sale
- Sold beverages, snacks, and pizza to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand with a donation of $368.43 to this great organization
- And collected too many kid’s shoes and socks to count, as well as some clothes, to support Cradles to Crayons
