NATICK, MA — Natick this week will hold the last of four community outreach meetings featuring companies that want to open cannabis businesses in town.

Three of the proposed businesses are retailers looking to open recreational stores. The fourth is a marijuana testing lab. Natick will only allow two cannabis retailers to open in town, but does not have a cap on the number of ancillary marijuana businesses, like labs and grow facilities.

The final business to present on Thursday will be Cypress Tree. The company has a dispensary under construction in Newton along Route 9. The owner is proposing for the Natick facility to open in the Total Wine shopping plaza along Speen Street.

The other two retailers already presented at community outreach meetings on Sept. 21 and Sept. 17.

The C3 dispensary would open in a small shopping plaza at 42 Worcester St. just west of Grove Road. Revolutionary Clinics is proposing a dispensary nearby at 6 Worcester St. just east of Grove Road in the Nine East Wine Emporium building. The testing facility Kaycha Labs wants to open in an office building off of Oak Street at the end of Tech Circle.

The Cypress Tree community outreach meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday via Zoom.
