Natick Coronavirus Cases Remained Flat Over Weekend
Natick officials say seven people in town have tested positive for COVID-19. Many more are in quarantine or waiting on test results.
NATICK, MA — The number of new coronavirus cases in Natick remained at seven all weekend, but the number of negative COVID-19 test results has risen to nine.
Natick was one of the first MetroWest communities to report a COVID-19 case when a parent of two Natick High School students tested presumptive positive last weekend. There are still 16 people in town under quarantine, and 21 have completed quarantine.
There are now 164 people across Massachusetts with either confirmed or presumptive positive COVID-19. Over the weekend, Framingham confirmed two new cases, bringing the total there to three.

Natick on Sunday also announced that Town Hall would close to the public beginning on Monday. The building will be open by appointment only beginning on March 18. All schools, libraries, and the community center are closed. Parks are open for use, but parks and recreation programs have been called off.
The town is providing daily updates on a dedicated COVID-19 web page. There's also a phone number (508-647-6410) for anyone without internet access. The state set up a COVID-19 hotline over the weekend that can be reached by dialing 211.
