Natick Dick's Sporting Goods To Hold Hiring Event
The sporting goods chain plans to hire 240 seasonal employees in the greater Boston area.

NATICK, MA — The Natick Dick's Sporting Goods store will hold a hiring event on Wednesday, part of a regional push by the national chain to hire more than 200 seasonal workers in the leadup to Christmas.
The Natick store, along with seven others between Plymouth and Danvers, will be part of an effort to hire a combined 240 temporary workers in Massachusetts. The chain has billed the event "national signing day," a nod to events where athletes sign contracts with pro or college teams. The company hopes to hire about 10,000 seasonal employees across the nation.
Anyone interested in a season job should apply on the company's website, and then head to the Sept. 15 hiring event. The jobs offer a 25 percent discount, the option of using the on-demand pay service DailyPay and "competitive" pay rates, according to the company.
