Natick Dug Pond Treatment Limits Water Use On Friday, Saturday
The chemical treatment will be used to control aquatic vegetation, Natick officials said.

NATICK, MA — Don't plan on using the water in Dug Pond heading into the first days of the weekend.
Dug Pond will be treated to control aquatic vegetation on Friday, and will be unavailable for water use Friday through Saturday.
This means residents won't be allowed to use the water for boating, fishing or swimming, watering of livestock, irrigation and drinking or cooking, officials said.

Dug Pond is most known to Natick residents as the body of water they look at or swim in while at Memorial Beach.
The beach itself is set to open for the season on June 16.
