Natick Elections 2024: School Committee Incumbents Win Big

Unofficial results show a landslide victory for Catherine Brunell and Shai Fuxman in the contested School Committee race.

NATICK, MA — Local elections in Natick have — unofficially — decided what the makeup of two seats on the School Committee will look like for the next three years.

In the town's only contested town-wide race, Catherine Brunell claimed that she and Shai Fuxman won the two seats on the committee. Unofficial results from Natick confirm their claim, and also show a landslide victory for the duo.

  • Catherine W. Brunell (incumbent) — 5,641
  • Shai Fuxman (incumbent) — 5,480
  • Donna M. McKenize — 673
  • James T. Roberts — 1,326

There was only one other contested race on any ballot in Natick, which came in Precinct 7, where seven people ran for six Town Meeting member seats.

One incumbent lost their spot on the roster in Patricia Sciarra, who received the lowest vote count of the seven, according to the unofficial results.
