Natick Fall 2021 Town Meeting Tonight: What's On Warrant
The 2021 fall town meeting warrant includes items like federal stimulus spending and adding a Juneteenth holiday.

NATICK, MA — Natick's annual fall Town Meeting will kick off Tuesday night, with members convening to vote on everything from adding Juneteenth to the town calendar to zoning changes near the West Natick train station.
Perhaps some of the biggest decisions will be made around the town's $10 million federal American Rescue Plan (ARPA) stimulus allotment. Natick has proposed using the money to fund items like a new chief diversity officer, HVAC upgrades in town and school buildings and a new economic development study of the Golden Triangle shopping area.
Other items include moving the start date of the annual spring Town Meeting to one month after the spring election up from two weeks; establishing a town revolving fund to pay for improvements at community gardens; funding a study to explore a third option for the South Natick dam; and to upgrade zoning near the West Natick station to permit denser housing, with the goal of adding more affordable units.
