NATICK, MA — There may not be any snow in the forecast right now, but Natick Center will still look plenty decked out for the holiday season after this weekend.

A holiday lighting celebration will take place Sunday afternoon featuring Santa Claus, music and much more.

The event will begin at the common around 3:30 p.m. when the Chabad Center of Natick lights a menorah for the first night of Hanukkah. There will also be hot chocolate, latkes and milk chocolate gelt.

Near that same time, Santa will begin an hour-long ride through Natick on a fire truck (see the map here). He'll end his journey near 4:30 p.m., just in time for the ceremonial holiday lighting on the common at 4:45 p.m.

The holiday lighting ceremony, sponsored by Middlesex Savings Bank, will feature crafts, an antique car show, a performance by Empire Dance and carols by Voices of MetroWest. Santa will be there too — although there won't be photos this year due to the ongoing pandemic.
