Natick Investigates Mosquito Concerns
After residents complained about mosquitos in the neighborhood, the town decided to send in professionals.
NATICK, MA — The summer heat brings everyone outside, including some pesky insects. Residents in Natick weren't going to let a few mosquito bites ruin their summer evenings and have the town's support in keeping the insects at bay.
For most of the month of July, Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project personnel will be in Natick to investigate residents’ concerns about mosquitoes. The project will take place July 2, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31 and August 1.
Spraying in requested areas will start on July 2, although it varies from day to day. You can check the schedule on theCentral Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project website.

Generally, there is no need to relocate during mosquito control spraying. The pesticides have been evaluated for this use and found to pose minimal risks to human health and the environment when used according to label directions. Although mosquito control pesticides pose low risks, some people may prefer to avoid or further minimize exposure.
