SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. NATICK, MA — Worcester police arrested a Natick man early Friday morning after a shooting several days ago in that city, according to authorities. Worcester police responded to a shooting along Gardner Street on Tuesday. The main suspect was the 21-year-old Natick man. Near 5:30 a.m. Friday, Worcester police pulled over a person driving a scooter along Grand Street, and it turned out to be the shooting suspect. He was arrested on charges including armed assault to murder, firing a gun within 500 feet of a home, weapons law violations and not wearing a helmet. The man had not been arraigned on those charges as of Friday afternoon.

This year's parade is on Saturday, Jul. 4 at 1 p.m. The route is approximately 2.5 miles long.The parade route runs from Union Ave (at Chiswick park) to Route 20 E to Concord Rd north to the town center

Meanwhile, Wayland has been commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution with a year-long series of fun and engaging activities.Here are some events to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution:&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wayland.ma.us/1724/62826-Music-of-Americas-Foundation" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Music of America’s Foundation</a> Music of America’s Foundation is an afternoon celebrating the soundtrack of America’s history, authentically performed by The Red Horse Oldtime Stringband.
On Sunday, June 28th at 2:00 PM, gather on the Town Green at Wayland Center for this free outdoor concert experience. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy an afternoon of live traditional music in a relaxed, community setting. Guests are welcome to bring their own refreshments.
