Natick Man Hit By Driver On Christmas Dies
Clinton Poland, 78, was crossing South Main Street on Christmas night when he was hit by a car.

NATICK, MA — The Natick man who was hit by a driver near the South Main Street Honey Farms on Christmas has died, according to friends. Clinton Poland, 78, was taken off life support at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston on Saturday afternoon.
Poland was crossing South Main Street at around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 25 when he was hit by a driver He was taken to Beth Israel with life-threatening injuries, police said at the time.
The driver stayed at the scene, but Natick police were not immediately available to say if any charges had been filed. State police did assist with the investigation, but did not have information about the outcome.

According to Poland's friends, he owned a home near Honey Farms and was walking to a meeting at the Common Street Spiritual Center when he was hit.
