Natick Man Ran Marathon as Part of Tedy's Team

A Natick runner finished the Boston Marathon in honor of his wife, a stroke survivor.

Joining Tedy’s Team, Michael Lawrence from Natick ran the 119th Boston Marathon in honor of his wife, Devon, who is a stroke survivor.

Tedy’s Team was formed 10 years ago with the American Stroke Association following Tedy Bruschi’s stroke in 2005 to support and honor survivors and loved ones affected by the No. 1 cause of long-term disability, said an announcement.

“Lawrence joined more than 30 members of Tedy’s Team, as they took critical steps toward raising awareness of stroke and its warning signs, as well as much needed funds for local research and educational programs,” said the release
