Elderly Man Hit While Crossing Natick Street
The elderly pedestrian was seriously hurt in the collision, which happened along South Main Street.
NATICK, MA — An elderly pedestrian was hit by a driver and seriously hurt on Christmas night, according to Natick police. The incident briefly shut down a portion of South Main Street in the downtown area.
The pedestrian was hit close to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday near the Honey Farms south of the town green. He was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston for treatment of life-threatening injuries, Natick Lt. Cara Rossi said Thursday morning.
South Main Street was closed until around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Natick police and state police are investigating the incident.
