NATICK, MA — Dris, a cannabis delivery company hoping to operate in Natick, was given clearance from the Planning Board at a Wednesday meeting.
The Planning Board approved a special permit for the business for all parts of the delivery business and also waived the need for a traffic impact statement, drainage assessment and dimensional table.

The company has already entered into a host community agreement with the town, and has been operating a delivery business in other Massachusetts communities as Your Green Package.
The move to Natick makes sense for a few reasons, company officials said at a recent Planning Board meeting, but would also serve to consolidate business licenses with a move to Natick.
Dris will center its operations out of Natick. The company makes deliveries for a number of parties, including from business to business, business to consumers and from wholesalers to retailers.
As Your Green Package, officials from the company said they've made about 60,000 deliveries mainly in the Greater Boston area.
According to the application, Dris would use approximately 7500 square feet of leased space in a unit on the 2nd floor of the existing commercial building located at 16 Tech Circle.
The Company will utilize the property for secure storage of finished cannabis products, dispatch and monitoring of transports and home deliveries, and administrative operations.
Dris would make renovations to the interior of the space, but haven't proposed any changes to the exterior of the building, which is currently used by another marijuana business, Kaycha, a testing lab.
