Natick Police Will Use $34K Grant For Traffic Enforcement Efforts
Watch for six upcoming traffic enforcement periods covering everything from seatbelts to cell phone use.

NATICK, MA — Watch your driving in Natick, because local police are armed with a new state grant to mount special traffic enforcement efforts.
Natick police will receive an almost $35,000 grant from the state Office of Public Safety and Security. With the money, the department will mount six special efforts between December and Labor Day 2024, according to Chief James Hicks.

- Impaired driving, Dec. 1 to Dec 31
- Distracted driving, month of April 2023
- Seatbelt enforcement, month of May 2023
- Speeding, months of June, July 2023
- Impaired driving, Aug. 12 to Sept. 15, 2023
