Natick Preschoolers Offer A Helping Hand For New School Year
These students may be small but they sure are mighty and determined to help kids start school on the right track,
NATICK, MA — Natick's Primrose pre-k and kindergarten students might be just starting their educational careers but that doesn't mean it's too early for them to help other students with theirs. The group of students helped pack backpacks for public school students in the area last week.
The kids showed what small but mighty really meant, stuffing more than 40 backpacks with supplies to ensure the students receiving them were off to a great start. The initiative, named the "We've Got Your BACKpack" program isn't over yet either — the school received 260 backpacks and will continue to collect donations either in person or from their Amazon wish list.
The backpack stuffing event is held annually in the school as a way to teach the youngsters the importance of giving back and lending a helping hand to a fellow student, even if they don't go to your school.
