Natick Public Schools Awarded with Mental Health Resources Grant
DESE has awarded Natick Public Schools with $75,000 in grant funding for behavioral and mental health infrastructure.

Boston – Representative David Linsky (D-Natick) announced that the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has awarded Natick with $75,000 for the FY24 Supporting Students’ Social and Emotional Learning, Behavioral and Mental Health, and Wellness Grant. The grant provides money for school districts to build and expand their comprehensive, multi-tiered systems of support for students’ mental health and well-being. This funding will allow schools to better respond to the social-emotional and behavioral health needs of students, families, and educators while emphasizing the value of safe and supportive learning environments for all.
“I was incredibly proud to have voted to fund this program in the state budget. This grant will provide crucial funding to help Natick Public Schools invest in the well-being of their students, ” said Representative Linsky. “I want to thank DESE for awarding our school district with this grant that will have an immense positive impact on the support systems available to students, teachers, and staff.”
Across the Commonwealth, a total of $2,883,315 was awarded to public schools for this initiative.
