NATICK, MA—Parents, you've almost survived the summer.
Students are due back in Natick schools on Wednesday, Aug. 31, for all grades. There is no school on Monday, Sept. 5 (Labor Day).

Gone are the days of Labor Day marking the start of the school season. Tell the kids not to complain - many schools across the country start before the end of August, and some even in July, according to CNN. And parents, no complaining from you either - some schools don't welcome back students until well into September.
