Natick Student 1 Of 80 Across The Country To Receive This Scholarship
Digital Federal Credit Union awarded 80 seniors across the country with scholarship funds, including Yasmin Salerno, of Natick.
NATICK, MA — A Natick student is among 80 high school seniors to receive a scholarship in the Digital Federal Credit Union's annual scholarship program.
Yasmin Salerno was awarded $1,500 in scholarship funds, the credit union announced.
DCU for Kids awarded the funds to graduating high school seniors across the country.

For more than 20 years, DCU for Kids has underwritten the scholarship program that is designed to assist students in the pursuit of a higher education with just over $1.9 million in scholarships awarded to date, officials said.
Recipients were chosen by an impartial panel of college educators who base their decisions on scholastic achievement, community involvement, leadership skills, character and integrity, recommendation letters and an essay.

The program will accept applications for 2024 high school graduates starting in December 2023.
