Natick Student Wins Writing Honor For Poem

NATICK, MA — One Natick student is receiving some well deserved recognition, even if it is summer break. Geanna P was named the winner of the poetry category for middle school in the 2019 NEATE Writing Contest for Students.

Geanna’s piece was selected out of nearly 300 submissions this year and will be published in the next issue of The Leaflet.

NEATE is The New England Association of Teachers of English promotes networking among English language arts teachers at the elementary, secondary, and college levels. NEATE is an affiliate of NCTE.
