The New England Association of School Superintendents is the main professional group for superintendents in the region.

NATICK, MA — Natick Superintendent Anna Nolin this week will be named the president of the board of the largest school superintendents association in the region.
Nolin will take over as the New England Association of Superintendents board president at the organization's annual conference, which takes place in Northampton through Friday.
Nolin will continue to be Natick's superintendent — the NEASS post is outside her duties in the town.

Marlborough-based NEASS is the oldest professional association for superintendents in the U.S., and includes superintendent-members from each New England state. Nolin joined the board in 2021 and will take over the board president role from Hollis-Brookline, NH, Superintendent Andrew Corey.
Nolin has been a longtime Natick Public Schools employee. She began her teaching career in Framingham before taking over as principal at Wilson Middle School in the 2000s. She took over as interim Natick superintendent in March 2018 before being hired for the job full-time in December of that year.
