Natick Town Meeting Nomination Papers Due Soon: How Many Are Running?
There are a total of 69 seats available for Natick's election. As of this week, 49 candidates have filed to run ahead of Tuesday's deadline.
NATICK, MA — Natick's annual town election is scheduled for March 28 and, in addition to seats of the Select Board and other local political seats, there is an election for Town Meeting members.
For those seeking to gain a seat for the latter, the deadline to file nomination papers is fast approaching. That paperwork must be in by Tuesday, officials said.
Town meeting members have an important role in local politics as they make up the body that approves all town budget allocations.
