Natick VNA Receives Donation From Zoup! Soup

Natick Visiting Nurse Association (Natick VNA), the area’s premier free-standing, not-for-profit home health care agency, has received a $740 donation from Zoup!, a new fast-casual restaurant in Natick’s Sherwood Plaza. The donation was made after a recent pre-grand opening fundraiser, which was held at Zoup!.

Zoup! served 12 of its award-winning soups at the event, and all proceeds generated were donated to Natick VNA.

“We are so grateful to Zoup! and its owners, Mark and Lori Fox, who gave generously to the Natick VNA. We rely on community partners to help us offset the cost of unreimbursed care we provide to our patients throughout MetroWest,” said Natick VNA CEO Judith Boyko, MS, RN, MBA.

Natick VNA provides home health care for approximately 2,000 people annually in the comfort of their homes. Natick VNA has been able to provide that care despite the ever-changing healthcare environment and the financial challenges it presents, through the generosity and support of community partners and donors.

In addition to its unique soup recipes, the fast-casual restaurant’s menu will include made-to-order salads and sandwiches and will feature an array of nutritional options, including low-fat, dairy-free, vegetarian, spicy and gluten-free.

Zoup! has been recognized by national media and industry leaders. Among its accolades are being placed at #34 on INC Magazine’s 2013 list of fastest-growing food and beverage companies; and it has been rated among the top in franchisee satisfaction by a Franchise Business Review Magazine survey of franchisees.
