Natick Wegmans Hiring 550, Opening In Spring

NATICK, MA — Wegmans is announcing its going to hire 550 workers for its new location in the Natick Mall, including 225 full-time positions being filled now. The company the store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018.

This Wegmans won't be your everyday Wegmans. In fact, it won't be like any other Wegmans in the country. The 134,000-square foot supermarket will span two floors and contain more than 100 seats for in-store food court. (Subscribe to Natick Patch for local news and alerts.)

A 12,500-square foot on the second floor will have two unidentified restaurant concepts. The company is also looking for a third floor tenant for a 45,000-square foot place.

The Natick location will be the fifth Wegmans in the state, starting in Northborough in 2011, and including a Medford location opening on Sunday, Nov. 5. The Medford location is also hiring.
