Get A Flu Shot At Wegmans This Weekend
The Natick flu shot clinic this weekend will be one of two at Wegmans in Massachusetts this fall.
NATICK, MA — The Natick and Burlington Wegmans stores will offer drive-thru flu vaccine clinics in September aimed at making it easy for residents to prevent a disease that can be just as dangerous as COVID-19.
The Natick drive-thru clinic will be held Saturday at the Natick Mall parking garage from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No appointment is needed, and there will be a fee unless your health insurance covers the flu shot. The vaccine is available for anyone over age 3.
Flu season is typically the biggest communicable disease threat between about October and May each year. However, the 2020-21 flu season that occurred alongside the COVID-19 pandemic was mild, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Health experts believe coronavirus safety practices like masks and social distancing greatly reduced flu spread last winter.

Wegmans will hold a second drive-thru flu clinic at the Burlington store on Sept. 25. Flu shots are available at Wegmans pharmacies — and all other local pharmacies and health facilities — as a walk-in service.
Anyone attending either the Natick or Burlington drive-thru clinics should wear a mask, according to the supermarket chain.
